Permissions Oubon Shop Automation Requests
When you sign in with TikTok, the following five scopes are requested. Each is used for a specific feature within the product, as described below.
Login Kit
user.info.basic
Used to display your connected TikTok identity (avatar, display name) in the
Settings → Integrations page so you can confirm the correct account is connected.
open_id is also stored as the link between your Oubon Shop merchant
profile and your TikTok account.
user.info.profile
Your TikTok profile URL is shown on product pages of your Shopify storefront as
a "View seller on TikTok" link so buyers can verify your TikTok presence. The
is_verified flag determines whether direct publishing is enabled
for your account.
user.info.stats
Follower, following, likes, and video counts are displayed in your Settings →
Integrations page. follower_count also chooses the default
publishing mode for new campaigns (accounts under 1,000 followers default to
draft mode for safety).
Content Posting API
video.upload
Powers the "Save to TikTok drafts" button on the New Campaign page. The video is uploaded to your TikTok account as a draft for you to review and finalize the caption inside the TikTok app before publishing.
video.publish
Powers the "Publish to TikTok now" button on the New Campaign page. The video is posted directly to your TikTok profile, with the caption and privacy setting you chose.
You can revoke this app's access at any time at tiktok.com/setting/connected-apps.
